You have at least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating your ability to match and mix paint colors effectively. Your expertise in using water-based paint ensures high-quality finishes on vehicles, contributing to Carvana's commitment to exceptional customer experiences. You are a team player who is willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet business needs and deliver vehicles on time. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English, ensuring smooth collaboration with your colleagues.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive painting techniques would be a plus. Familiarity with the latest tools and technologies in automotive painting can enhance your contribution to the team.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Painter at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for painting, which includes cleaning and masking areas that should not be painted. You will mix and match paint colors to ensure a perfect match with the vehicle's original color, applying your keen eye for detail to achieve a flawless finish. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to enhance your efficiency and the quality of your work. Your role will also involve maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition. You will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure that the painting process aligns with the overall workflow and timelines of the inspection process.
