Who you are

You have extensive experience in data center operations and engineering, ideally with a focus on critical infrastructure systems. You are skilled in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis on various facility-related issues, ensuring that all systems operate within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). Your leadership experience includes providing training and guidance to engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. You are adept at managing both routine and emergency services, ensuring that all critical systems such as switchgear, generators, and UPS systems are maintained to the highest standards. You thrive in environments that require innovative thinking and are passionate about implementing new technologies and practices to meet evolving market demands.

Desirable

Experience with advanced data center technologies and a strong understanding of power distribution equipment, chillers, and cooling systems would be beneficial. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in data center management is a plus. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys working with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues, overseeing the operation and management of critical systems. You will lead a team of engineering operations technicians, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle both routine and emergency situations. Your responsibilities will include performing root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting facilities to maintain optimal performance. You will collaborate with facility managers to set team culture and deploy new standard practices that enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, you will work closely with various stakeholders to implement the latest technologies and work practices, ensuring that the data centers remain at the forefront of the industry.
