Overview

SingleStore is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and expand relationships with large enterprise customers. You'll lead complex sales cycles and collaborate with Sales Engineering and Sales Development teams. This role requires a strong understanding of the enterprise market landscape.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an accomplished sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You excel at closing new business and expanding existing relationships with large enterprise customers, demonstrating a strong understanding of the enterprise market landscape. You are strategic and customer-focused, passionate about evangelizing modern data infrastructure solutions. You have experience navigating complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying environments, allowing you to build and maintain senior-level customer relationships effectively.

You apply a value-selling approach that connects technology to measurable business outcomes, ensuring that your clients see the tangible benefits of your solutions. You collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and Sales Development teams, articulating solution value to both technical and business stakeholders within large organizations. Your ability to develop and execute territory and account plans consistently helps you achieve revenue targets within a defined portfolio.

Desirable

Experience in the data infrastructure or technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with value-based selling methodologies. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple concurrent customer sales cycles end to end, focusing on new logo acquisition while also managing longer, more complex deal timelines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading multiple customer sales cycles from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new logos. You will own and grow large enterprise customer accounts, navigating the complexities of multi-stakeholder environments and managing relationships across various decision-makers. You will partner closely with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, and Field Marketing teams to drive deal strategy, pipeline generation, and execution. Your role will involve developing and executing territory and account plans that align with the company's revenue targets.

You will build and maintain relationships with channel partners, supporting pipeline development and ensuring that your sales strategies align with broader company goals. Your ability to articulate the value of SingleStore's technology solutions will be crucial in connecting with potential clients and demonstrating how these solutions can lead to measurable business outcomes. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to refine your sales strategies and approaches.
