Overview

Google is seeking a Software Engineer III to work on virtualization for laptops and tablets with a focus on security. Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages. If you hold an advanced degree, you may qualify with just 1 year of experience. You have a strong background in building software focused on data privacy or security, particularly in areas like identity and access management. Your experience includes working with data structures and algorithms, and you have developed accessible technologies. You are knowledgeable about information security, privacy, and cryptography concepts, and you have hands-on experience with programming languages such as Rust, C, and C++. You are versatile and eager to tackle new challenges across the full stack, demonstrating leadership qualities as you contribute to critical projects.

What you'll do

As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will be involved in developing next-generation technologies that impact how billions of users connect and interact with information. You will work on specific projects that are critical to Google's needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business evolves.
