Job Description

To meet the growing demand for Amazon Web Services around the globe, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our APJ Training & Certification Team. You will be responsible for further developing, managing and growing the APN Training Partner Program in the Japan region. The role requires a proven successful program management track record demonstrating accelerated growth through high value partnerships with the IT/Channel training partners. You will be creating regional go-to-market plans focusing on business development and sales strategies. To be successful in this position, you must be highly motivated, creative, able to think big, execute flawlessly, and stay focused on the details.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute partner sales & delivery plans to meet and exceed revenue and student training goals assigned to your role.
• Work with your Partners to develop a living, actionable, individual annual joint business plans, including marketing and GTM plans that will place AWS Training and Certifications front-and-center for partners assigned.
• On a monthly basis, review, refined and adjust annual joint business plans to ensure achievement of assigned performance objectives.
• Manage day-to-day operations with your Partner, including managing, driving new customer engagement, and jointly closing opportunity pipeline.
• Effectively manage, deliver, and measure partner enablement activities and levels.
• Maintain account management information in Salesforce and AWS Training Partner Program information in SFDC
• Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools to enable detailed metrics, and leverage these in the day-to-day management of training partners.
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (e.g. Partner SA, field sales, marketing, PR, legal, support, BDMs, PEMs, PDMs, AMs, ProServe etc.) to co-sell and/or further develop partner strategies and processes


A day in the life
Your day starts with a fresh coffee or tea organizing yourself for you day ahead. You drive your ATP engagement with stakeholder to understand AWS customer needs, getting directly involved in specific strategic customer pursuits along with ATPs & internal stakeholders. You reach out to ATPs to help them to understand the possibilities of leveraging AWS training & meeting customer requirement.

About the team
AWS Global Services includes experts from across AWS who help our customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Customers innovate with AWS Professional Services, upskill with AWS Training and Certification, optimize with AWS Support and Managed Services, and meet objectives with AWS Security Assurance Services. Our expertise and emerging technologies include AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center. You’ll join a diverse team of technical experts in dozens of countries who help customers achieve more with the AWS cloud.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience within advertising technology related sales
- 5+ years of managing customers to fulfil their IT skilling requirement with minimum 2+years directly managing training partners.- Exceptional understanding of the Training Partner Channel Management, preferably within the IT Training Industry
- Understand cloud technologies and distributed computing at a high level and relate back to curriculum
- Capability to logically plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems to produce measurable results
- Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
