Senior Software Engineer - Platform Infrastructure (Remote USA)

You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and operating scalable systems. Your expertise in Java and cloud technologies like AWS allows you to design robust services that meet high availability and security standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Your operational mindset ensures that you not only build but also maintain and improve systems in production, focusing on reliability and observability.

You possess a strong understanding of security principles and practices, enabling you to integrate security seamlessly into the development process. Your experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes equips you to manage complex deployments effectively. You are comfortable with REST API design and have a solid grasp of best practices for API security and performance.

You are a proactive communicator, able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within your team. You are adaptable and open to feedback, always looking for ways to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

Desirable

Experience with incident response and monitoring tools is a plus, as is familiarity with infrastructure as code practices.
