Valiantys is seeking an Accountant (Account Payable) to manage supplier accounting for several subsidiaries in France. This role involves VAT management, invoice control, and month-end closing entries.
You are an organized and detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles. You have experience in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in invoice control, and maintaining compliance with internal workflows. You are comfortable working in a multicultural environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values collaboration and efficiency. You possess strong analytical skills and are capable of tracking budgets through proper use of accounting codes and analytical allocations. You are proactive in updating daily bank operations and have a basic understanding of month-end closing entries, such as accrued and prepaid expenses.
In this role, you will manage supplier accounting for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring that all invoices are validated and processed according to internal workflows. You will oversee VAT management and ensure that all accounting codes are used correctly for budget tracking. Your responsibilities will include recording expense reports and ensuring their timely payment. You will also update daily bank operations, including credit card transactions, and assist in posting basic month-end closing entries. You will participate in the reconciliation process, ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up to date. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations and compliance with financial regulations.
