Amazon is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their Infrastructure Operations team. You'll be responsible for hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring data center reliability. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment.

Who you are

You are a motivated individual with a strong interest in technology and data centers. You possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Your organizational skills and effective communication are critical to your success in this role. You are physically capable of lifting and moving equipment as needed, and you are willing to participate in an on-call rotation to support data center operations. You have a keen eye for detail and are proactive in identifying and solving problems within the data center space.

Desirable

Experience with hardware and network diagnostics is a plus, as is familiarity with data center operations. You are adaptable and can thrive in a fast-paced environment that operates 24/7. A willingness to learn and innovate solutions is essential, as is the ability to create documentation for processes and repairs.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon Web Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall availability and reliability of data center operations. Your responsibilities will include performing hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to maintain service levels. You will install equipment and create documentation to support operational processes. Your role may also involve participating in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed. You will work closely with other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure that all operations run smoothly.
