Amazon seeks a Payroll Analyst to apply great customer service skills in a fast paced environment to insure accurate timely results for our employees. Payroll is processed on a daily basis and will perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility; prepare a variety of statistical/financial reports; compile data and conduct research. Emphasis will be on detail, problem solving, and auditing.

Payroll Analysts are accountable to assist the operational Payroll activities such as data input, reporting, perform validations & attend payroll general inquiries. Provide support to ensure SLAs in payroll processing and Ticket Resolution are met while show customer obsession to address inquiries from employees and stakeholders. This role is responsible to follow processes assigned to prepare and validate information with deep understanding of calculations and payroll concepts, to avoid pay defects. They apply the knowledge of the elements of payroll processing to ensure accuracy and good standards are maintained during the cycle processes, ensuring compliance with Amazon’s controllership and country regulatory requirements. This role is in charge of processing bank account information changes and inclusions for new employees. Another function is to manage the paper checks process: determines the list per pay period, verifies information on the documents and coordinates the delivery.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Heredia, H, CRI•1+ year of experience in payroll, finance, HR or related field.
• Fluent English, strong written and verbal skills
• MS Office experience.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding. payroll and employee issues.
• Good interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times – front line contact for employee issues.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
College degree in related field
Familiar with payroll Software (People Soft, Share Point and Time and Attendance systems)
