Overview

Orb is seeking a Sales Director to lead the sales team in engaging and closing high-potential accounts across mid-market and enterprise segments. You'll support Account Executives in managing complex sales cycles and developing their skills. This role requires strong sales leadership and analytical skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, ideally with experience in technical sales cycles. Your ability to analyze data and develop strategies has consistently led to exceeding sales targets. You thrive in collaborative environments and understand the importance of team selling in achieving success. You are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team, recognizing that varied perspectives drive innovation and growth.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage effectively with both internal teams and external clients. Your experience in managing complex sales processes equips you to mentor and support your team in navigating challenges. You are results-oriented, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.

Desirable

Experience in the AI or software industry is a plus, as is familiarity with usage-based pricing models. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing market conditions. A background in working with cross-functional teams, including Product and Marketing, will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As the Sales Director at Orb, you will lead the sales team in identifying and closing high-potential accounts. You will support your Account Executives in managing their pipelines and navigating complex sales cycles. Your analytical skills will be crucial in developing repeatable processes from pipeline generation to deal execution. You will set clear goals for your team and ensure they have the resources and support needed to meet and exceed these targets.

You will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with Product, Solutions Architecture, and Marketing teams to align sales strategies with company objectives. Your leadership will help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, where team members are encouraged to develop their skills and share best practices. You will also play a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy, ensuring that the sales team is well-equipped to communicate the value of Orb's innovative billing infrastructure.
