You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners and utilize your skills in Excel and SQL. This role is ideal for candidates with 1-3 years of experience in strategic finance or corporate finance.
You have 1-3 years of experience in strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally within a high-growth technology sector or a well-established company. You are comfortable managing budgets for various teams and possess intermediate proficiency in Excel and SQL, or you are eager to learn. You have the ability to build financial models that enhance the understanding of business operations and outcomes.
As an Associate in the Finance and Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in accelerating the growth of DoorDash by identifying and implementing new opportunities and solutions. You will collaborate with teams across the company to enhance profitability, scalability, and the overall defensibility of the business model. Your work will involve evaluating the effectiveness of financial decisions and developing creative strategies to improve both financial and real-world outcomes. You will partner with the Dasher, Insurance, and Risk teams to ensure that data-driven decisions are made to enhance Dasher safety and reduce accident risk. Your role will require you to model future scenarios and carry projects from conception through execution, making a significant impact on the company's operations.
