Doctolib is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance healthcare technology. You'll work with Java or Ruby to develop features for patient communication and care continuity. This role requires solid fullstack development experience.
You have solid fullstack development experience, with either Java or Ruby as your main expertise on the Backend — this will be required for the role. You are comfortable with English, as our team is international, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to building innovative products. You understand the importance of user feedback and are eager to engage with care teams and patients to improve their daily lives through technology. You are familiar with working in agile environments and have experience with large distributed systems, which will help you navigate the complexities of our projects. You are proactive in addressing technical debt and ensuring the stability and security of the platform, contributing to a healthy development process.
As a Senior Software Engineer at Doctolib, you will join our tech team in Milan's hub, focusing on the Continuity of Care technology. Your mission will involve extracting the Patient Base Capability from the monolith to an isolated service, which is a critical task for enhancing our platform's functionality. You will spend approximately 60% of your time designing and implementing new features according to the roadmap, ensuring that our products meet the needs of users effectively. Another 20% of your time will be dedicated to technical tasks, such as addressing stability, security, and technical debt, which are essential for maintaining a robust platform. The remaining 20% will focus on bug fixes, ensuring that we deliver a healthy and reliable product to our users. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers, contributing to a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
At Doctolib, we believe in transforming healthcare through technology, and we offer a supportive environment where you can grow your skills and make a real impact. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly affect the lives of care teams and patients. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. Our team is committed to fostering a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can contribute to our mission of improving healthcare. We provide competitive compensation and benefits, along with opportunities for professional development and career growth.
