Astranis is hiring a Structural Analyst to perform modeling, structural analysis, and testing of spacecraft components. You'll work with mechanical and aerospace engineering principles to ensure compliance with launch and on-orbit requirements.
You hold a B.S. or M.S. in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or an equivalent field, and have a strong foundation in structural analysis and modeling. You are experienced in analyzing complex components and assemblies, ensuring they meet stringent launch and on-orbit requirements. Your background includes leading vibration test campaigns and defining structural load requirements for various spacecraft subsystems. You are also skilled in developing design best practices that contribute to the success of future programs. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to assist in recruiting and mentoring new team members as the company grows.
Experience with satellite systems or aerospace applications is a plus, as is familiarity with industry-standard testing methodologies. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation in the aerospace sector, which drives you to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
