You are a fully licensed actuary with extensive experience in risk management and insurance. You have a proven track record of developing innovative protection products and managing global insurance portfolios. Your strategic mindset allows you to guide enterprise-wide insurance strategies through data-driven analysis and insights into industry trends. You excel in relationship management, structuring and nurturing strategic partnerships with insurers, reinsurers, and other stakeholders. You are adept at overseeing captive insurance activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your leadership skills enable you to drive product innovation and continuous improvement in insurance offerings.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and manage Airbnb’s insurance products, ensuring strategic oversight of all protection programs. You will lead the development and launch of new insurance offerings and captive solutions for emerging risks and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include guiding the enterprise-wide insurance strategy through competitive benchmarking and data analysis. You will structure, negotiate, and nurture strategic relationships with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and claims administrators to ensure industry-leading coverage. Additionally, you will oversee captive insurance activities, including underwriting and compliance, to support Airbnb’s competitive edge in the market.
