You have a strong background in procurement, ideally with over 5 years of experience in a technology or financial services environment. Your strategic mindset allows you to make sound business decisions based on data and analytics, ensuring that procurement processes align with organizational goals. You are adept at establishing trusted business partner relationships and have a user-first approach that prioritizes collaboration across various functions. Your familiarity with e-procurement tools and systems, such as Oracle, positions you well to lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and compliance in supplier management.

Experience with third-party risk management and compliance activities is a plus, as is a deep understanding of the fintech industry's supply chain challenges. You are comfortable navigating complex supplier relationships and have a proven track record of negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will help you drive successful outcomes in procurement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the full supplier lifecycle and buying journey, from sourcing and evaluating new vendors to renewing and negotiating engagements with existing suppliers. You will lead efforts to ensure that suppliers meet Stripe's standards, focusing on operational excellence and innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and approving supplier contract structures and terms, ensuring alignment with Stripe's risk appetite and legal requirements. You will collaborate closely with sourcing leads to support category plans and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.

You will also be responsible for leading third-party risk management activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Your strategic approach will help identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, ultimately contributing to the overall success of Stripe's procurement function. You will work across matrixed functions, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the procurement team.
