Welocalize is seeking a Korean Culture and Language Expert to evaluate AI-generated responses and improve language models. This freelance role requires strong Korean language skills and cultural knowledge.
You have a passion for languages and writing, with a keen eye for quality evaluation. Your background may include teaching or experience in writing in Korean, which equips you with the necessary skills to assess AI-generated content effectively. You possess excellent written communication skills and a strong grasp of grammatical accuracy, ensuring that your evaluations are precise and culturally relevant. Familiarity with the nuances of Korean culture is essential, as it will inform your evaluations and help improve AI language models. You are comfortable with structured tasks, such as preference ranking and grammaticality checks, and you thrive in a flexible work environment.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, grammar, and cultural relevance, ensuring that the content meets high standards. You will identify issues in the responses and provide refined, high-quality rewritten versions to enhance the overall quality of the AI's output. Additionally, you will create natural prompts and responses in Korean to improve conversational datasets, contributing to the development of more effective AI language models. Collaboration with global teams will be a key aspect of your work, as you help improve the understanding and generation of the Korean language in AI systems. This project is set to begin on January 16, 2026, and will last for four weeks, with a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
This freelance contract position offers a competitive rate of $35 USD per hour, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to an exciting language evaluation project.
