Overview

Cognism is seeking a Sales Director for France to lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Account Managers. You'll drive New ARR, Renewals, and Expansion in the French market. This role requires strong leadership and strategic execution skills.

Who you are

You are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams. With at least 5 years of experience in sales leadership, you understand the nuances of the French market and can effectively represent its voice within the organization. You possess strong interpersonal skills and are adept at fostering a collaborative team culture that aligns with company values. Your strategic mindset allows you to translate global and regional goals into actionable plans that drive performance and accountability.

You have a deep understanding of sales processes, including New Business, Expansion, and Renewals. You are skilled in pipeline management and can conduct effective reviews that maintain focus and execution excellence. Your ability to partner with marketing and sales development teams enables you to create a robust pipeline and empower your team to convert opportunities into successful deals. You are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace, welcoming applications from individuals typically underrepresented in tech.

Desirable

Experience in B2B sales, particularly in the tech or data sectors, is a plus. Familiarity with sales intelligence platforms and data-driven decision-making will enhance your effectiveness in this role. You are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles and can adapt strategies based on market feedback and performance metrics.

What you'll do

As the Sales Director for France, you will lead a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, overseeing their performance and ensuring alignment with company objectives. You will be responsible for driving New Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), managing Renewals, and facilitating Expansion efforts across the region. Your role will involve setting clear expectations and maintaining a consistent operating rhythm through regular pipeline and commit reviews, ensuring that your team remains focused and accountable.

You will collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Marketing leadership to drive pipeline creation, enabling your Account Executives to convert new opportunities effectively. Additionally, you will empower Account Managers to strengthen customer relationships, ensuring that renewals and expansions are executed seamlessly. Your leadership will shape the local culture and operations, fostering an environment where team members feel supported and motivated to achieve their best work.

You will act as the senior commercial leader for Cognism in France, representing the company in strategic discussions and decisions. Your insights into the French market will be invaluable as you contribute to the EMEA leadership team, helping to shape the overall strategy and direction of the business in the region. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
