Altium is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of their cloud platforms. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Linux to automate operational tasks and improve observability. This role requires a blend of software engineering and systems administration skills.

Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of large-scale software systems. You understand how cloud platforms operate and have a knack for automating operational tasks to improve efficiency. Your expertise in monitoring and incident management allows you to proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact users. You are comfortable collaborating with development and technology teams to build more reliable and scalable applications. You have a solid understanding of Linux and containerization technologies like Docker, which you leverage to enhance system performance and reliability. You are passionate about improving observability through logging and application performance management, ensuring that systems are resilient across multiple environments.

Desirable

Experience with AWS and familiarity with various monitoring tools will be beneficial in this role. Knowledge of reliability frameworks and patterns will help you standardize and elevate the resilience of SaaS products.
