Job Description

This role is an individual contributor role based in our São Paulo corporate office and is for a passionate, dynamic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed person.

Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and in the most cost-effective way as possible. In this way, Amazon Brazil Transportation Team is looking for an experienced Sr. Program Manager with a strong focus on ensuring the best decision-making balance among deliveries quality, speed, and costs within transportation operations, keeping a high bar for customer experience.

The successful candidate will be able to create, develop, prioritize and drive solutions that result in transportation continuous improvement, cost management and excellence across teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to meet speed requirements and improve Customer Experience (CX) in alignment with business North Star and goals, assuring cost to serve
• Ensure optimal decision-making by balancing quality, speed, and cost trade-offs within transportation operations using qualitative analysis, Amazon mechanisms and frameworks
• Connect fulfillment and transportation strategy across each mile to optimize Cost to Serve by channel while maintaining quality standards
• Lead weekly meetings with stakeholders to ensure operations plan goals remain on track (in three pillars)
• Write strategic documents (e.g., narratives, PR/FAQs) that clearly communicate vision to senior leadership- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Advanced English knowledge- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience driving process improvements
