Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative for the Public Sector to drive cloud and AI solutions. You'll leverage your extensive experience in B2B software sales and account management to engage with government and educational clients in Singapore.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your background includes working with public sector clients such as government, research institutes, and educational entities in Singapore. You possess excellent communication skills in English, which are essential for managing client relationships in the region. You have experience collaborating with customer engineers and technical leads to assess software estates, define migration plans, and build compelling migration business cases. Your expertise extends to promoting software solutions to research institutes and navigating business and legal negotiations with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams. You have a proven track record of promoting cloud and AI solutions, aligning them to drive significant business outcomes, and successfully growing existing customer bases while acquiring new logos to enhance spending and accelerate consumption growth. You excel at building relationships and influencing executives.
In this role, you will develop and execute account strategies to uncover business growth opportunities within the Public Sector. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners to enhance business impact for your clients. Managing business cycles will be a key responsibility, where you will present to executives and negotiate terms effectively. You will drive business development initiatives, ensuring operational excellence while forecasting and achieving your goals. Your role will involve leading customers through the entire business cycle, from initial engagement to successful implementation of Google Cloud solutions. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions provided meet the unique needs of public sector clients, ultimately helping them transform and build what's next for their organizations.
