Anthropic is seeking an Engagement Manager for their Applied AI team to lead the delivery of AI solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises. You'll manage high-value engagements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
You have a strong background in managing complex projects and engagements, ideally within the AI or technology sectors. Your experience includes working directly with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. You excel at stakeholder management and navigating organizational complexities, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You are comfortable drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and structuring engagements with clear scope and success criteria. Your ability to collaborate with technical teams while maintaining a focus on client objectives sets you apart.
Experience in AI or machine learning projects is a plus, as is familiarity with enterprise environments and the challenges they present. You may have worked with Fortune 500 companies or similar large organizations, giving you insight into their unique needs and expectations. A background in engineering or technical delivery can enhance your effectiveness in this role, allowing you to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand the intricacies of AI solutions.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of transformational AI solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises, owning high-value engagements from signed SOW through production deployment. You will orchestrate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Design, and customer stakeholders, to ensure successful project execution. Your responsibilities will include drafting SOWs alongside engineers, participating in technical discovery sessions, and structuring engagements with clear milestones and success criteria. You will navigate complex enterprise environments, removing technical and organizational blockers to deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining high standards for safety and reliability. You will work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) who handle core technical delivery, while you focus on stakeholder management and delivery cadence. Your role will also involve building playbooks and processes that enable the scaling of this emerging motion within the company.
