You have a proven track record of leading compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the FinTech sector. With over 10 years of experience, you understand the complexities of regulatory frameworks and have successfully navigated compliance challenges in previous roles. Your strategic mindset allows you to foresee potential compliance risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them. You possess strong leadership skills, having managed teams of compliance professionals, and you excel at fostering collaboration across departments to ensure compliance is integrated into product development. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies for your team. You are passionate about creating a culture of compliance and ethics within your organization, ensuring that all employees understand the importance of adhering to regulations.

Desirable

Experience in the rental or payments industry is a plus, as is familiarity with consumer protection laws and financial regulations. You have a strong network within the compliance community and stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from executives to operational teams, sets you apart as a leader in compliance.

What you'll do

As the Senior Director of Product Compliance at Flex, you will be responsible for overseeing the compliance function across the organization. You will lead a team of compliance professionals, ensuring that all products and services meet regulatory requirements while supporting innovation. You will collaborate closely with product, legal, and engineering teams to integrate compliance considerations into the product development lifecycle. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing compliance policies, and providing training to staff on compliance matters. You will also be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes and advising the organization on necessary adjustments to maintain compliance. Additionally, you will represent Flex in discussions with regulatory bodies and industry groups, advocating for the company's interests while ensuring adherence to legal standards.
