Google is seeking a Senior Field Sales Manager for the Public Sector to drive cloud technology growth. You'll leverage your experience in B2B sales and account management to lead teams and engage with government clients in Toronto.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, or account management at a B2B software company. Your leadership experience includes people management, team lead roles, mentorship, or coaching, demonstrating your ability to guide and develop teams effectively. You have a proven track record of managing and leading teams, and you are skilled in working with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to implement projects and negotiate effectively. Your experience includes working with the Ontario provincial government, showcasing your understanding of public sector dynamics. You are adept at driving the growth of cloud technologies in the public sector market, and you possess the ability to manage business and commercial models while leading organizational transformations and delivering results.
As a Field Sales Manager for Google Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the needs of public sector customers and guiding them through the entire business cycle. You will represent your territory in business planning, town halls, and team meetings, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting and business performance reporting. Your responsibilities will include advocating for Google Cloud and its products by traveling to and presenting at customer meetings, conferences, and other related events as needed. You will lead initiatives to identify new opportunities and drive growth in the public sector, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Your role will involve strategic planning and execution, ensuring that Google Cloud remains a trusted partner for public sector organizations.
