Job Description

**About the Role** At Uber, our mission is to be the platform of choice for flexible earning opportunities, and we’re expanding that vision through Uber AI Solutions — a new, fast-scaling marketplace that connects enterprises with top-tier, cost-effective knowledge work services such as data labeling and data collection for Gen AI, Agentic AI & Robotics. Operating with the agility of a startup and the reach of a global tech leader, our team is focused on building a seamless, scalable, and high-performance two-sided marketplace. As a Group Product Manager, you will manage product teams responsible for the demand side of the marketplace to make it easy to onboard new enterprises and to create and manage projects across all types of knowledge work. In addition, you will also manage the product team responsible for our data collection business, including partnering with various teams at Uber to build a best-in-class data collection experience within the Uber Earner app. If you're excited about building platforms that scale globally, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy working at the intersection of AI, marketplaces, and system design — we’d love to hear from you. **What the Candidate Will Do** - Develop, articulate and lead a visionary product strategy for the the Data Collections business and the Demand side of the marketplace. - Collaborate with engineering, data science and design leadership to deliver high-quality, well-designed products that meet user needs and exceed business objectives. - Guide the product team to work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements (PRDs), prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and drive business objectives. - Be incredibly truth-seeking. Collect whatever data is necessary to inform product direction, whether in the form of competitive intel, customer behavior or other business metrics. Solicit and welcome critical feedback. - Make tradeoff decisions based on technical and business insights and experimentation. - Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into product development process to drive growth. - Clearly communicate product plans, benefits and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to Uber executives and enterprises. **Basic Qualifications** - Minimum of 9+ years experience as a technical Product Manager. - B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering degree, Masters is a plus. - Must have direct experience managing managers, this will be a leadership role. - Deep experience with ML products, ideally in a marketplace environment. **Preferred Qualifications** - Data-driven decision-making ability and a "driver" personality for pushing toward clarity and balancing the need for great collaboration. - High attention to detail and proven track record to multi-task and manage competing priorities. - Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to thrive in cross-functional environments and work backward from the needs of your customers to build solutions that scale. - We don’t expect you to code, but you should feel comfortable discussing deep technical topics with engineering teams and the platform users. - A passion for Uber's mission and technology-driven culture, along with a deep desire to grow and learn! For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$252,000 per year - USD$280,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
