IT Risk Analyst

Who you are

You have a solid background in IT risk management, with experience in identifying and assessing technology and cybersecurity risks. You understand the importance of data confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and you are skilled at working with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks effectively. Your analytical mindset allows you to evaluate complex systems and identify potential vulnerabilities that could impact the organization.

You are familiar with cloud-based environments and have a good grasp of the technologies that underpin modern financial services. You thrive in collaborative settings and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive in your approach to risk management and are always looking for ways to improve processes and enhance security measures.

Desirable

Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks and standards related to information security would be a plus. Familiarity with risk assessment tools and methodologies is also desirable, as is a background in financial services or technology sectors.

What you'll do

As an IT Risk Analyst at Nubank, you will play a critical role in the Second Line of Defense, working closely with various teams to identify and govern technology and cybersecurity risks. You will assess risks associated with IT systems and processes, ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate potential threats. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring the effectiveness of these strategies over time.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Security teams to evaluate the security posture of applications and infrastructure, providing insights and recommendations to enhance security measures. You will also work with Product and Business teams to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into the development and deployment of new products and services.

Your role will involve staying up-to-date with the latest trends and threats in the cybersecurity landscape, enabling you to provide informed guidance to your colleagues. You will contribute to the development of risk management policies and procedures, helping to foster a culture of risk awareness throughout the organization.
