Desirable

Experience with payroll software and systems is a plus, as is familiarity with labor laws and regulations. You may have a background in finance or human resources, which would further enhance your ability to manage payroll functions effectively. A certification in payroll management or a related field would be advantageous but not required.

What you'll do

As the Payroll Manager at Gopuff, you will lead the Payroll team and oversee all payroll functions. You will ensure that payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will manage payroll schedules, ensuring timely payments to employees while addressing any discrepancies that may arise. You will collaborate closely with the People & Culture team to enhance the employee experience, providing support and guidance on payroll-related inquiries. Additionally, you will analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing best practices to optimize payroll processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining payroll records and ensuring data integrity within payroll systems. Your role will involve training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of excellence within the Payroll department.
