Gopuff is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead the Payroll team within the People & Culture department. This role requires onsite presence in Philadelphia and focuses on managing payroll functions effectively.
You have a strong background in payroll management, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You understand the intricacies of payroll processing and compliance, ensuring that all payroll activities are executed accurately and on time. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you thrive in environments where operational excellence is paramount. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to enhance processes and improve the employee experience. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively interact with various stakeholders across the organization. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to streamline payroll operations.
Experience with payroll software and systems is a plus, as is familiarity with labor laws and regulations. You may have a background in finance or human resources, which would further enhance your ability to manage payroll functions effectively. A certification in payroll management or a related field would be advantageous but not required.
