What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for Logs Query, you will lead a team of 3-5 engineers responsible for the features and overall experience of the Flex Logs product — your role will involve steering open-ended, multi-quarter initiatives that enhance the product's capabilities and user experience. You will provide technical leadership, identifying and addressing roadblocks to maintain team velocity and code quality.

You will collaborate closely with the Product team to enhance the Flex Logs offering, ensuring that it meets the needs of various user personas, including business and security analysts — your insights will help shape the future vision of the product, making it more performant and cost-effective. You will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that engineering efforts align with business objectives and user needs.

In this role, you will also cultivate the next generation of technical leaders, providing mentorship and guidance to your team members — you will conduct regular one-on-ones to discuss career development and performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality engineering standards, implementing best practices, and ensuring that your team adheres to them.
