Amazon Now India Team is looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management, to join our exciting new project team working to build a new, ground breaking services. As a Senior Manager, Product Management, you will provide product strategy and technical leadership. This role will be responsible for product road-mapping, defining requirements, coordinating across teams, mitigating risks and balancing delivery timelines with technical constraints in an Agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams and delivering products that optimize customer workflows.
Key job responsibilities
Work on strategy and strategic communication for Amazon Now
Own, create and improve the delivery of new products across the organization
Drive the product road-map, prioritizing long-term and short-term initiatives that support the business strategy
Collaborate with individuals throughout the organization to identify product needs, define the vision, determine prioritization and ensure outcomes align the business’ priorities
Starting with business questions, leverage strong analytical skills, critical thinking capabilities, and in-depth understanding of the team’s data to collaborate with business users and engineers, to develop the product strategy.
Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, scope, time to market in an agile environment
Bridge business users and the technology organizations. Lead collaborations and discussions among cross-functional teams for effective solution-building or issue-resolutions.
Hire and develop a diverse team of product managers, engineers and data scientists
Define and analyzes metrics that measure and benchmark product success
Play active role in optimization and process improvements between product, design, and engineering teams
Stay abreast of new technology capabilities and leverage knowledge in contributing to product solutions
Balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines/milestones
About the team
Project Tez (Amazon Now Quick Commerce)- 12+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 6+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
