Automotive Mechanic

Who you are

You have at least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of automotive issues with confidence and skill. Your background includes performing general automotive repairs such as working on radiators, timing belts, alignments, and suspension systems. You are familiar with completing repairs for wheel bearings and axles, and you have experience with vehicle climate control repair and replacement for ACs and heater cores. You are a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and are willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary to meet customer needs.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as would experience with high-tech automotive tools and systems. You are eager to learn and grow within the company, taking advantage of training programs offered for entry-level positions.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Level Auto Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light to medium automotive repairs on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing issues, repairing radiators, timing belts, and suspension systems, as well as handling wheel bearings and axles. You will also be tasked with climate control repairs, ensuring that vehicles are comfortable and functional for our customers. You will work in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, utilizing state-of-the-art tools to complete your work efficiently and effectively. You will collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure that all repairs meet Carvana's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
