Within AB North America (NA), small business (SMB) customers are a key segment, both in terms of their unique purchasing behavior and their impact on revenue.

The North American (US + CA) Amazon Business SMB team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager, with proven experience in thought leadership, and detailed execution to lead, expand, and grow Amazon’s B2B Lead Development (new customer acquisition) team for the SMB segment. The PM will be responsible for setting the vision for a team of hundreds of third party agents (across two different partners) calling prospective SMB customers across the US and Canada and convincing them to sign up for Amazon Business. The PM will own the function end-to-end, including resources allocation, sales strategy, and tech and operations roadmap. The role requires innovative thinking, strong dive deep skills, as well as customer and quality focus. The Sr. PM will work closely with the channel and segment leaders, and our engineering team (along with other Amazon teams) to implement a strategy that is coordinated across all B2B initiatives at Amazon. Experience managing third-party partners and outbound telephone sales agents is a key requirement to be successful in this role. The role is based in Boston, MA.

Key job responsibilities
- Define the SMB Lead Development (Acquisition) strategy for NA (US + Canada)
- Manage two third-party partners and a team of telephone-based agents
- Drive tech and sales innovation to improve funnel conversion rate
- Work with other team members to develop a comprehensive sales strategy to engage customers across their Amazon Business journey
- Define key success metrics for the program, set up mechanisms to inspect and monitor the business, and report on business results
- Optimize and manage leads by developing a thoughtful prioritization model and a robust allocation methodology
- Build in-depth understanding AB customers via direct conversations, research, data analysis
- Work cross-functionality with a diverse set of Amazon teams including Tech, Retail, Sales, Marketing- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience managing third-party partners and hundreds of telephone agents

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
