Google is seeking a Senior Security Consultant to help clients prepare for and respond to cybersecurity threats. You'll work with cloud-based infrastructure and identity management systems, requiring 5+ years of experience in information security.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. With 5 years of experience in information security and engineering, you have a strong background in cloud-based infrastructure environments. Your expertise includes 4 years of experience with identity and access management, enterprise architecture, and cloud architecture, particularly with Google Cloud Platform. You hold certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, ISC2 (CISSP), and SANS-GIAC certifications (GSEC, GCIH, GCED, GCFA, GCIA, GNFA, GPEN, GWAPT), as well as CISCO (CCNA) and EC-Council (CEH, LPT). Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to convey remediation recommendations and strategies effectively to technical staff, executive leadership, legal counsel, and clients. You have a keen attention to detail and strong time management skills, and you are willing to travel up to 25% of the time as needed.
In this role, you will be responsible for helping clients effectively prepare to mitigate and respond to cybersecurity threats. You will identify enterprise security requirements and provide guidance to enterprise initiatives. Your responsibilities will include serving as technical support for security tools and assisting with their implementation and integration into customer environments. You will develop and present comprehensive and accurate reports, training, and presentations tailored for both technical and executive audiences. Your role will also involve communicating strategies and roadmap initiatives to client stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned on security objectives and best practices. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique security challenges and provide tailored solutions that enhance their security posture. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through incident response remediation and disaster recovery processes, ensuring they are well-prepared for any potential security incidents.
