Location Software Development Engineer in Test

Join our Sensing and Connectivity team to work on the next generation of cutting-edge Location Technologies. We build highly innovative and deeply impactful location features based on the core wireless technologies such as GNSS, Cellular, WiFi and Bluetooth on all Apple products. These are used across many of our products and are the foundation of Maps Navigation, Fitness applications & Emergency Text via Satellite - among many more. As a member of our dynamic group, you will have the rare and rewarding opportunity to craft upcoming products that will delight and inspire our customers. We’re looking for an individual to help us build automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance our quality assurance processes and deliver the best location experience for our customers. The Software Location QE team undertakes special projects for the Sensing and Connectivity groups at Apple. These projects have ranged from developing data crowdsourcing systems to prototyping apps & features for future OS releases. Our team is looking for an engineer with a deep understanding of GNSS / Cellular location technologies to continue to improve the reliability and robustness of our proprietary system. In this role you will work closely with hardware and software developers to ensure features are developed with high quality and performance.
