Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Policy Enforcement Manager to lead efforts in combating content misinformation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage data insights to enhance YouTube's Trust & Safety initiatives. This role requires 7+ years of experience in Trust and Safety or related fields.

Who you are

You have at least 7 years of experience in Trust and Safety, policy, or cybersecurity, demonstrating a strong understanding of content policy and anti-abuse measures. Your background includes practical experience in reviewing online content and managing scaled operations, which equips you to handle complex challenges in content enforcement. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to influence cross-functionally at various levels within the organization. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify abuse trends and mitigate risks effectively, particularly in the realm of misinformation policy. You are proactive and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with diverse teams to enhance user safety on platforms like YouTube.

Desirable

Experience with SQL and data visualization tools is a plus, as you will be building dashboards and transforming data for insights. Familiarity with scripting or programming languages, such as Python, will further enhance your ability to analyze data and develop creative solutions for operational improvements.

What you'll do

As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you will lead a global team dedicated to preventing violative content from appearing on YouTube. Your role involves evaluating abuse trends and quality within vendor operations, ensuring that the enforcement of policies is both effective and efficient. You will leverage data insights to review the impact of abuse on the ecosystem, identifying opportunities for operational improvement. Collaborating closely with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Public Policy teams, you will navigate complex issues and communicate strategic initiatives to the broader organization. Your ability to influence and drive high-priority decisions will be crucial in enhancing the YouTube experience for users and content creators alike.
