Who you are

You have at least 5 years of project or program management experience in software development — you've successfully led large, cross-functional efforts and programs that impact various aspects of technology and operations. Your knowledge of software development standard methodologies and related dependencies allows you to navigate complex projects effectively.

Your strong communication skills enable you to influence stakeholders across different teams — you can present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership with clarity and confidence. You thrive in environments that value innovation and rapid iteration, and you bring a proactive approach to identifying and resolving program issues.

You are organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and timelines — your ability to own the roadmap and execution of programs ensures that projects are delivered on time and meet the needs of the organization. You understand the importance of continuous improvement in program management processes and are eager to contribute to enhancing these practices.

Desirable

Experience with tools like Jamf (MDM) and Oomnitza (ITAM) is a plus, as it aligns with the needs of managing Apple’s global fleet of employee devices. Familiarity with device management and lifecycle processes will help you excel in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and lead all aspects of large, cross-functional efforts and programs at Apple — you will partner with engineering colleagues and leaders across the organization to drive initiatives that enhance employee productivity and support unreleased products. Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying, prioritizing, and driving resolution to program issues that arise during the lifecycle of device management.

You will present and communicate new feature initiatives, top issues, risks, and critical achievements to executive leadership — your ability to articulate complex information clearly will be essential in ensuring alignment across teams. You will also be responsible for owning the roadmap, priorities, prioritization, timelines, and execution of programs, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.

Your role will involve helping the team with ongoing improvements to program management processes — you will leverage your experience to identify areas for enhancement and implement best practices that drive efficiency and effectiveness in program execution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of device management are addressed and that programs are aligned with Apple's strategic goals.
