Maintenance Technician

Who you are

You have at least 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or Electrician, bringing a solid background in maintaining production environments. Your formal Electrical Trade Qualification, along with a current Electrical Licence, is essential for this role. You thrive in fast-paced manufacturing settings and are proficient in using a wide range of power tools for mechanical and electrical tasks. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills enable you to identify and implement performance improvements effectively.

Desirable

Experience with automated systems and machinery maintenance is a plus, as is familiarity with refrigeration plants and high-speed roller doors. You are comfortable working in a team and can communicate effectively with colleagues and management alike. Your proactive approach to maintenance ensures that production lines run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Maintenance Technician at HelloFresh, you will play a crucial role in the Operations team, ensuring the seamless operation of our Sydney production facility. Your responsibilities will include carrying out essential plant checks and readings on critical site equipment, continuously monitoring production lines to identify and suggest performance improvements. You will oversee and maintain key machinery, including refrigeration plants, thermoforming and dosing equipment, and high-speed roller doors. Additionally, you will manage the upkeep of automated systems such as box sorting conveyors, carton sealing machines, and dock levellers.

Conducting regular machine inspections and performing necessary repairs will be part of your daily tasks, along with executing preventative maintenance schedules. You will also ensure the general maintenance and upkeep of both the warehouse and office environments, maintaining access control systems, turnstiles, and facility lighting to ensure a safe and secure site. Your role is vital in supporting the timely delivery of fresh meals to our valued customers.
