Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex security operations projects. You'll leverage your expertise in program management and customer engagement to drive product adoption and account expansion. This role requires 10+ years of experience in program management within enterprise software environments.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 10 years of experience in program management. Your background includes 10 years of customer-facing experience in an enterprise software company, where you've successfully interfaced with executives and driven customer transformation programs. You have a proven track record of 5 years in driving product adoption for enterprise customers by identifying patterns and executing growth strategies. Additionally, you possess 5 years of experience leading enterprise-level change management programs and influencing executive-level stakeholders within IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS environments.

Your experience managing complex cross-functional or cross-team end-to-end customer experience programs spans at least 10 years. You are adept at using data and creativity to drive consumption-based business decisions and long-term customer value. You have a solid understanding of security operations (SecOps), threat intelligence, or cloud security analytics, which enhances your ability to contribute to the team effectively.

What you'll do

As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, utilizing your technical expertise to ensure successful outcomes. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your role will involve explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives while also discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineering teams.

You will collaborate with Sales, Support, Professional Services, and Customer Engineering to design and implement strategies that maximize product growth and account expansion. Acting as a critical partner to Product leadership, you will take ownership of "post-commit" growth activities, translating customer feedback into product improvements and driving continued technology consumption. Your ability to influence and manage relationships with executive stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.

What we offer

At Google, you will be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products. You will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects that create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with a supportive work environment that fosters professional growth.
