Who you are

You have a strong background in DevOps with at least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS. Your expertise in Linux and Bash scripting allows you to analyze complex problems and deliver effective root cause analysis. You are familiar with cloud networking concepts such as VPC, VPN, and Load Balancers, and you understand the importance of network security, including firewalls and security groups. You enjoy collaborating with development teams to define solutions that leverage cloud resources effectively.

You have hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker and are comfortable working with CI/CD tools, preferably Jenkins and GitHub Actions. Your knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, enables you to automate and optimize day-to-day activities, increasing product delivery and support efficiency. You are proactive in monitoring cloud systems and addressing identified issues, ensuring that internal and external users maintain access to necessary resources.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at CI&T, you will play a crucial role in optimizing cloud resources for a major client in the CPG industry. You will analyze cloud system usage metrics, including costs, and propose improvements to enhance utilization. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will define solutions that leverage cloud resources effectively, ensuring that the team can deliver high-quality products efficiently.

You will be responsible for identifying actions that enable automation, streamlining day-to-day activities for the development team. Your expertise in maintaining access for internal and external users to cloud resources will be essential, as will your ability to manage access keys for supported applications. You will monitor cloud systems continuously, addressing any identified issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency.

Documentation is a key part of your role, and you will create comprehensive documentation to support your work and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles.
