Overview

Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales of their IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with multiple stakeholders and manage pricing negotiations. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, from initial contact through to closing deals, and you are comfortable negotiating pricing with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a remote work environment and are adept at using technology to facilitate communication and collaboration.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) sector is a plus, as is familiarity with industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation. You are a self-motivated individual who enjoys working independently while also being part of a larger team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with mid-sized customers, helping them understand the value of Samsara's IoT solutions. You will conduct product demonstrations, manage trials, and oversee the sales process from start to finish. Your role will involve working closely with various stakeholders, including executives and CXOs, to ensure that their needs are met and that they see the benefits of our technology.

You will also be tasked with developing sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. Regular travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events, allowing you to network and promote Samsara's offerings effectively.
