Databricks is seeking a Greenfield Account Executive to acquire new customers in the Start Up space. You'll develop territory strategies and implement prospecting campaigns while leveraging your passion for data and AI technology. This role requires sales experience and offers opportunities for career development.
You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in high-growth companies, and a passion for data, AI, and cloud technologies. You understand the importance of building relationships and guiding customers through their initial journey with new technology. Your ability to communicate the value of data and AI solutions is key to your success in this role. You are results-driven and thrive in environments where you can make a significant impact on customer success and company growth.
Experience in the data analytics space or familiarity with the Databricks platform would be advantageous. You are comfortable working with system integrators and cloud partners to develop comprehensive data strategies for clients. Your proactive approach to prospecting and closing new opportunities sets you apart from your peers.
As a Greenfield Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers in the Start Up sector. In your first 30 days, you will develop a successful territory strategy that aligns with the company's goals. You will start executing and developing your first customer activations within your first 60 days, ensuring that you are on track to meet your quarterly revenue targets. You will implement prospecting campaigns in collaboration with your Business Development Representative, identifying new opportunities and guiding customers through their initial decisions and early successes with the Databricks platform.
Your role will involve working closely with system integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs), and cloud partners to help customers build effective data and AI strategies. You will be expected to drive accelerated quarter-over-quarter growth in a consumption sales model, ensuring that customers achieve their first business outcomes with Databricks. Meeting and exceeding quarterly revenue targets will be a key focus of your role, and you will be supported by a team that values innovation and collaboration.
