Kognitos is seeking a Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer to lead the Frontend team in San Jose. You'll be responsible for building scalable user interfaces and mentoring engineers while working closely with Product and Design teams. This role requires expertise in JavaScript and React.
You have 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a strong focus on building scalable and high-performance user interfaces. Your expertise in JavaScript and React allows you to create dynamic web applications that enhance user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional and visually appealing interfaces. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within your team. You are passionate about staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring that your team adopts best practices in frontend development.
Experience with additional frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js would be a plus. Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs can enhance your contributions to the team. A background in AI-driven products is also desirable, as Kognitos focuses on innovative solutions in the hyper-automation market.
In this role, you will lead the frontend architecture and technical direction for Kognitos' complex, AI-driven products. You will be hands-on in building and scaling the frontend platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of users while maintaining high performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to define user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, implementing best practices, and driving execution within the team. You will also play a key role in mentoring engineers, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers. Regular in-person collaboration is expected, as you will be working onsite in San Jose.
