Who you are

You have a strong background in product design, with at least 5 years of experience creating user-centered designs for digital products. Your portfolio showcases your ability to blend creativity with functionality, demonstrating a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors. You are proficient in design tools such as Figma, and you have experience working in agile environments, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life. You are a systems thinker who can conceptualize complex interactions and translate them into intuitive user experiences. You thrive in a collaborative setting, where you can share your ideas and learn from others, and you are passionate about using design to solve real-world problems. You understand the importance of user research and testing, and you are skilled at iterating on designs based on feedback and data.

Desirable

Experience in the fintech industry or with financial products is a plus, as is familiarity with conversational interfaces and AI-driven design. You are comfortable presenting your work to stakeholders and advocating for user needs throughout the design process. You have a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense, ensuring that your designs are not only functional but also visually appealing.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design efforts for Moneybot, a conversational AI feature within Cash App. You will work closely with product managers and engineers to define the vision and strategy for the product, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users. You will create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate your ideas and solutions. You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate your designs, iterating based on user feedback to enhance the overall experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that your designs are implemented accurately and effectively, and you will participate in design reviews and critiques to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. You will also stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
