Overview

Cobalt.io is seeking a Senior Account Executive to sell their Pentesting and Offensive Security services to mid-market US customers. You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in the cybersecurity industry.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity sectors, with at least 5 years of experience as an Account Executive. You excel at building relationships and have a knack for identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively present complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner. You thrive in a fully remote environment and are comfortable managing your own schedule while collaborating with a diverse team. You are results-driven and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Desirable

Experience in selling cybersecurity solutions or services is a plus, as is familiarity with pentesting and offensive security practices. You are adept at using CRM tools to manage your pipeline and track customer interactions. A background in SaaS sales will also be beneficial, as you will be selling a platform that integrates with advanced development cycles.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from prospecting new accounts to closing deals with mid-market customers across the United States. You will identify potential clients, conduct outreach, and build a strong pipeline of opportunities. Delivering impactful product demonstrations will be a key part of your responsibilities, showcasing how Cobalt's services can meet the unique needs of each client. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and offerings. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the engagement.
