Acumen is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their Amplify team in Nairobi. You'll provide legal expertise in banking and finance law, focusing on complex transactional work. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and fluency in English.
You are a mission-driven corporate lawyer with at least 8 years of experience in banking and finance law. Your background includes exposure to complex transactional work, and you possess the skills to navigate intricate legal landscapes. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your approach is characterized by creativity, pragmatism, and respect for others, making you a valuable team member. You understand the importance of being available during live transactions and closings, and you are prepared for periods of increased workload and responsiveness to meet transaction timelines. You are open to the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and organizational needs.
