Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Outbound Communications team at Amazon. In this role, you will lead a team of Product Managers to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our next-generation outbound messaging platform. You will be responsible for developing innovative solutions that enhance our ability to deliver personalized, timely, and relevant communications to millions of Amazon customers worldwide across multiple channels including email, push notifications, SMS, and emerging technologies.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap for Amazon's Outbound Communications platform, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Manage a team of Product Managers, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies for new features and capabilities.
- Partner with data science teams to leverage AI/ML technologies for improving message personalization, timing, and relevance.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, design, legal, and business teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.
- Develop and track key performance metrics to measure the success of outbound communication initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in digital communications and customer engagement.
- Represent the Outbound Communications team in senior leadership meetings and drive strategic decisions.

- 8 years experience as a product manager or owner- Experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in personalization and customer engagement.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
