Esri is offering an Internship for Software Developers in Sharjah, where you'll work on real projects and gain valuable experience. This role requires knowledge of ArcGIS and offers a full-time, paid position.
You are a student majoring in GIS or Geography, currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program at a university. As a junior or senior, you are eager to gain practical experience while contributing to meaningful projects. You possess knowledge and experience in ArcGIS, and any software testing or scripting skills are a bonus. You are able to obtain work authorization in the UAE in 2024 and are ready to commit to a 6-month internship beginning in August 2024.
As an intern at Esri, you will contribute to real projects and collaborate with experienced team members. You will research state-of-the-art methods or approaches that can be used to improve software or solve new problems. Your responsibilities will include helping design, test, and document new functionality in ArcGIS products. You will develop use cases that demonstrate the value of spatial analysis in addressing important societal issues. Additionally, you will write blog posts or learn lessons that explain how to use ArcGIS to achieve well-defined goals.
