You'll lead the architectural mechanical analysis and performance modeling of advanced sensing modules, utilizing skills in finite element analysis and data-driven design. This role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
You have a BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience. Your deep understanding of advanced mechanical engineering principles, including solid mechanics, materials science, and heat transfer, sets you apart. You have proven experience with data-driven design, utilizing statistical decision-making to inform your engineering choices. Your expertise in finite element analysis (FEA) allows you to conduct thorough architectural mechanical analysis and performance modeling of advanced sensing modules. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working with multifunctional teams to generate innovative design concepts and quantify performance impacts through complex analytical models.
Experience with tolerance analysis and a strong background in manufacturing processes will enhance your contributions to the team. Familiarity with various sensing technologies and their applications in consumer electronics will be beneficial as you work on cutting-edge features that define Apple's product portfolio.
