Overview

The Microsoft 365 Consumer Marketing Team is looking for an AI savvy Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team to focus on our Subscription Portfolio & Frontier Program. Within the consumer marketing team, the Subscription Strategy team oversees end-to-end marketing for the Microsoft 365 consumer subscription inclusive of key products in the subscription portfolio such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Defender, Designer and the Microsoft 365 Copilot App. Microsoft’s productivity services are trusted by millions of people worldwide as their essential tools for staying connected, organized, and productive. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of rapidly evolving products, now supercharged by Microsoft Copilot and cutting-edge AI innovation. This position will focus on packaging and product strategies, partnering closely with engineering and business planning to develop products and motions that will support adoption and growth of AI in productivity. Responsibilities
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for the Microsoft 365 subscription portfolio, collaborating with engineering and business planning teams to accelerate subscriber and revenue growth across Personal, Family, and Premium plans.
  • Partner closely with engineering and business planning to shape product direction, influence feature prioritization, and ensure marketing plans and packaging strategies align with evolving portfolio capabilities—including new AI-powered experiences delivered through the Frontier program.
  • Define and communicate compelling value propositions for the full suite of subscription offerings, leveraging breakthrough AI features and experimental capabilities from Frontier to drive user engagement, advocacy, and portfolio-wide adoption.
  • Analyze user data and acquisition motions across the portfolio to identify growth opportunities, optimize marketing tactics, and inform packaging and pricing strategies for new and existing subscription tiers.
  • Support key feature releases and launch moments—with a focus on rapid experimentation and early access to AI capabilities via the Frontier program—ensuring seamless integration and communication across all subscription products.
  • Design and execute tests and programs to drive portfolio growth, continuously seeking optimization and new opportunities by leveraging insights from both commercial and consumer segments. 


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience executing marketing programs
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to influence product value
  • Experience working cross-functionally successfully
  • Experience with consumer freemium software or services
  • Experience with AI technologies and experience driving AI adoption in consumer products

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
