You have a strong background in real-time 3D systems and a deep understanding of graphics programming — your experience with OpenGL and Unity has equipped you with the skills to tackle complex rendering challenges. Your expertise in performance testing and shader compilation pipelines allows you to optimize workflows specific to real-time 3D workloads — you understand the nuances of visual regression systems and how they contribute to delivering cutting-edge spatial computing capabilities. In this role, you will join the RealityKit framework and tools team, where you will be responsible for building the infrastructure that powers Apple's spatial computing platform. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to implement performance testing harnesses and optimize shader compilation pipelines — your insights will help shape the direction of the team's projects and ensure that they meet the high standards expected at Apple. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to build optimizations specific to real-time 3D workloads — you will be a key player in ensuring that the RealityKit team can deliver innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.
