Smartsheet is hiring Software Engineers to contribute to the development life cycle and improve existing features. You'll work with technologies like Java, JavaScript, and Python in a hybrid environment in Bangalore.
You have a strong background in software engineering, with experience across various disciplines including front-end, back-end, and test automation. You are eager to build a wide skillset and work collaboratively across multiple teams and products. You are comfortable participating in system architecture discussions and implementing new features while maintaining existing service APIs. You actively engage in quality assurance and defect resolution, ensuring that the software you develop meets high standards of reliability and performance. You are familiar with using AI tools to enhance efficiency in coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a growing team in India.
In this role, you will contribute to the entire development life cycle, from concept to release, ensuring that the software meets user needs and business objectives. You will participate in system architecture discussions, collaborating with other engineers to design scalable and efficient solutions. Your responsibilities will include implementing new features and improving existing ones, as well as maintaining and developing service APIs. You will engage in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution, working closely with systems engineers to debug infrastructure problems. You will also have the opportunity to explore and actively use AI tools to improve personal and team efficiency across various tasks.
