Job Description

Amazon is seeking an experienced Communications professional to drive Public Relations initiatives supporting our fulfillment and logistics network across Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Northern England. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to shape and deliver compelling narratives about Amazon's operations.

Location: Remote position based in Scotland or Northern England

Key job responsibilities
• Lead communications strategies across multiple regions and stakeholder groups
• Serve as an Amazon spokesperson for media engagements
• Develop and maintain relationships with national and regional media outlets
• Create and execute strategic PR campaigns with measurable outcomes
• Manage crisis communications and time-sensitive media responses
• Create and implement comprehensive communications plans aligned with organizational goals
• Generate engaging content for traditional and digital media channels
• Write, develop and manage approvals for news releases, media advisories, fact sheets and related media materials for Amazon’s operations business

About the team
You will join a dynamic PR team dedicated to sharing Amazon's operations story with millions of customers. We value diverse perspectives and encourage innovative thinking to solve complex communications challenges.- Experience in professional communications or public relations
- Demonstrated track record at a Senior level of managing complex PR campaigns
- Experience as a media spokesperson
- Proven ability to develop strategic communications plans
- Experience managing crisis communications
- Proficiency with PR measurement tools and analytics- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Multi-region PR campaign management expertise
- Knowledge of retail or logistics industry
- Experience with social media strategy and content creation
- Strong analytical and project management abilities
- Ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups
